INKY AND JOHN is based on a newspaper column about a bright little one eyed black Pekingese dog who talks, but only to John, his combination master, straight man, and best pal. Inky, although very naive in some ways, in others he is a real smarty-pants, and he manages to get the upper hand more often than John would like. Come along with Inky, John, Pancho, (Chihuahua), and Spots (Fox Terrier) as they wreak havoc in PetSmart, Taco Bell and the vets office. They take a driving vacation to California to visit a movie studio, run on the beach, and see Malibu, Beverly Hills and Hollywood. Along the way, they encounter Native Americans in Arizona and visit the Grand Canyon. |
| Finally, after much soul searching, Inky makes the decision to accept the invitation of N.A.S.A. and become a doggie astronaut. Following weeks of intensive astronaut training, Lieutenant Inky Ching and the crew lift off the pad at Canaveral and begin their mission to the International Space Station. | |
